How we handle your information
This page explains what this website collects, what happens to anything you send us when you get in touch, and what you can ask us to do with it. It also explains how we keep the site usable for everyone. It is written in plain language on purpose.

What this website collects
Nothing. There is no form on this site at present, and no cookies, analytics, tracking pixels or advertising tools. We do not know who visits the site — only who chooses to get in touch.
Please do not send your Social Security number, income figures, or tax documents by email or in a booking note. Those are handled separately, through an encrypted client portal, only after you have agreed to a price.
When you contact us
If you email or call, we keep what you send for as long as we need it to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation. If you do not become a client, we delete it within twelve months.
If you book a consultation, the booking is handled by Calendly rather than by this website. The name, email address and any note you enter go to Calendly and are covered by Calendly's privacy policy as well as this one. We receive the booking details by email.
We do not sell what you send us, share it with advertisers, or add you to any mailing list.
Other services this website uses
Three outside services are involved in running this site. Each has its own privacy policy.
- Netlify hosts the website. Like any web host, it records basic technical information about visits, such as IP addresses, in its server logs.
- Google Fonts supplies the typeface used on this site. When the page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
- Calendly handles appointment booking if you choose to schedule a call. Clicking the booking button takes you to Calendly's website, and anything you enter there is governed by Calendly's privacy policy, not this one.
Your tax information is handled differently
If you become a client, the tax documents and personal information you provide are governed by federal law, including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and IRS rules on the use and disclosure of tax return information. You will receive a separate privacy notice covering that information when we begin work together. This page covers the website only.
What you can ask us to do
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you from this website, to correct it, or to delete it. Email joselunpun@jlptaxservices.com or call (929) 290-4598 and we will do it within a few business days. There is no charge and no form to fill out.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this notice
If the website starts collecting anything new or starts using a new outside service, we will update this page and change the date at the top. We will not apply changes to information you have already given us without telling you.
Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, magnify the page, or have reduced motion switched on. The site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, which is the standard referenced for the Americans with Disabilities Act.
In practice, that means:
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "skip to content" link.
- Headings, landmarks, and link text are structured so screen readers can read and navigate the page.
- Text and background colors meet the 4.5:1 contrast minimum, in both light and dark mode.
- Text can be enlarged to 200 percent without anything breaking or overlapping.
- Nothing conveys meaning by color alone, and links that open in a new tab say so.
- Motion is limited to gentle fade-ins as sections scroll into view, and stops entirely for visitors who have "reduce motion" turned on.
- Nothing on the site flashes, and no page imposes a time limit.
If any part of this site is difficult for you to use, tell us and we will fix it or give you the information another way. Email joselunpun@jlptaxservices.com or call (929) 290-4598. We will respond within two business days.
